Annoyed

I am not sure why I even bother to care at times. I am tired of people acting so big, powerful and all knowing, I did your job, so stuff your attitude somewhere else. I hate to say that one day when you get your ass chewed I will be sitting back thinking Uh huh. I am smarter than you realize, I am also not the one you want to screw with , and you are pushing it. Keep in mind folks tell me a lot.

Pintrest

I have apparently become obsessed with pintrest. I enjoy looking at all of the wonderful, creative ideas that I can find there. I am certain that I am not the only one that feels this way!:)

Here are some of the things that I have tried from pintrest:

1. Pallet furniture- I actually had my husband build the stuff, but my idea just the same, and they made wonderful Christmas gifts. We made several different style tables, and now a request list is growing.

2. wooden picture holders/shelves- what a great way to display multiple things with out the use of a lot of space.

3. Zucchini sticks- man these things are fantastic, a flavorful and delightful addition and new way to use the popular veggie. You must plan ahead as the prep time takes about 20 mins or so.

4.Sweet Italian chicken- very simple and easy thing to make, 3 ingredients.

5.homemade laundry soap- this is working well and goes a long way, in addition to being less expensive.  I have also made dishwasher soap- not a big of a fan yet, need to tweak the recipe. Grout cleaner and multi purpose cleaners that work so well.

6. Coupon and household organizers- the possibilities are truly endless.

7.You can find fun elf on the shelf ideas.

8. Painting interior doors a color other than the traditional white- I choose black.

9. Fun family friendly and inexpensive ideas for crafts and kid things.

10. Working on a date now for the Pintrest party and canvas painting group I am hosting.

I would love to hear some things that others have tried that worked well and we both fun and useful.

Amazed

People never cease to amaze me. It was labor day weekend and...  Ha no really it was and I was off for 3 days which in and of itself is amazing. But lets say the excitement never stops, the work toilet "broke" and Darren(my new manager) was away with no cell service, so I answered that we can have the water off and I would look at it when I returned to work on Tuesday. From what I hear that didn't happen, lets just say it could have been less expensive and problematic. It seems that toilets and I have a long standing friendship. I seem to be the one that ends up fixing or cleaning up the mess. And then today the other friends seemed to want to fuss as usual even though we have a reason to be happy and celebrate, we made our office goal, not all KPI targets but a start just the same. I find is so amusing to hear the things that are said. We shall see what happens next. We have a farewell diner tomorrow night for our former manager. I sure hope she is enjoying her new position.

A serious post: update on Jordan

Well Just over a week ago we found out that the time is getting close for Jordan to have more surgery. We thought that it would be several years away still, but he has grown so much in the last two years, that he is showing signs that he needs to have the repair. The right side of his heart is working harder than the left and that needs attentions as to not cause further problems and issues. He has an MRI scheduled in October to have a more detailed look and then a determination will be made as to when, how and what type procedure will need to take place. I will try to post more frequently if I can.

Home Parties

I had the opportunity to attend a home party that consisted of several vendors. I like the concept of multiples in this case. It was rather fun and entertaining. I think it gives you a chance to be free to laugh and relax, and chit chat. Our society today has become so Internet driven that it was a nice change of pace, and to shop at the same time, it doesn't get much better than that. I am interested to have your feedback on this, what other things can you have fun, socialize, eat, and shop all at the same time. Lets do it again!!! Tell me what types of home parties you enjoy and ideas for them . I am considering become a 31 consultant myself.
